On
May 6, 1968, SI Veteran Memorials dedicated the
first veteran memorial...a tribute to fall Vietnam
soldiers. Since then, we have dedicated
memorials in cities and towns throughout the Midwest
honoring those who have served our our great nation.
Through our unique
program, knowledgeable and dedicated staff
develop a plan to meet the needs and resources of
each community we serve.
SI Veteran Memorials is a division of
Suhor Industries, Inc., founded in 1933.
Suhor Industries is the leading manufacturer of
Wilbert Burial Vaults and a service provider to the
death care industry. Suhor operates facilities
in 11 states from Oregon to New York and employs
over 600 individuals devoted to providing the
highest quality product and service.

Joseph U. Suhor, III, Chairman/CEO,
is a retired Captain having served in the United
States Army Reserve for over 12 years. Mr.
Suhor serves on the Board of Directors of Wilbert,
Inc. and past Chairman of the Board (1995-2000).
Wilbert is an official partner of the World War II
Memorial Campaign and contributed over $250,000 for
construction of the Washington, D.C. memorial.
In June 2004, Suhor Industries was
chosen to provide the Wilbert Bronze Triune Burial
Vault for President Ronald W. Reagan's funeral and
honored to assist in the funeral ceremony in Simi
Valley, California.
